I was told that imitation is a sign of flattering. However, When someone pretends to be you , and resents the fact that your in your own skin and living your life , and decides that they want to pretend to you and you should not be you. Sounds a very strange for me to even write. However I thought I would write about it. I was asked by many people what do I see myself as in this world, what is my career move, and I just threw out writer, they themself became writes, not that they wrote anything that is known. Some might say that doesn’t mean anything. The problem lies when people block your like flow just because of jealousy. Then imitation becomes a wired reality. I was born in Jamaica, and proudly became a America, and I thought that I was one person who did not like people imitating me, then I found a video of a Jamaican entertainer stating that Jamaican people do not like people imitating them. One of the reasons I think is because the entertainers in Jamaica pride themself of being original,, one artist said “how could you want to walk in another man shoe’s , why would you, the shoes wouldn’t fit”. I have to agree. I find that people who are meant to be a certain way should be able to be themself and live there lives without interruption. However within this world of jealousy, anything becomes possible. More and more people want to be famous and in the spotlight, some having no talent nor Presents or pull, when I say pull meaning the ability to keep people interested in who they are and what they bring. I must say the entertainment industry have changed form when I was a kid, or have it always been this way. I find that people are too easily entertained now a days, someone could fart on YouTube and become a YouTube star. Which I guess its okay to have a laugh or two. When will we get back to good movies talented people brining stories to life, people that you actually want to see be themselves, and not a imagination of the person before hand.
